VIM APP / PRIVACY POLICY

Variant Image Module "the App" offers a robust system to assign and manage product images as they relate with products variants “the service”, to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App on your Shopify-supported store.


Information Collection

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain information on your Shopify store,

  • Products information: access to read and edit your store's products and variant information
  • Themes information: access to read and edit your Shopify store themes
  • Shop information: access to read general settings and information about your store, such as store name, contact email address, phone number, country and billing information.

We collect these information directly through your Shopify account, or with some technologies, such as: "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. "Log files" track actions occurring on the App, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. "Web beacons," "tags," and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the App.


Information Usage

Information we collect from you and your store are used by the App to execute it's core service. Additionally, we use shop's information to: communicate with you, optimize or improve the App; and provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.


Information Sharing

Information we collect can be shared to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.


If you want access to information we hold about you and your store, either to ask that they be corrected, updated, or deleted, please contact us through the contact information below.


Additionally, European resident should note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you, or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.


Behavioral Advertising

We use Information collected to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the App after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.
